On Friday afternoon, it's traditional for a family movie to be shown to the whole school in the Gym. I am looking for an entertaining Christmas movie that is appropriate for all students from 1 through 7. It should be a movie that is entertaining to all students, but that hasn't been seen too often...: I know, I know - it's not easy!
Hence today's Blog assignment!!
Suggest a Christmas themed family movie. You must include
- The title (spelled and punctuated correctly
- The running time, or duration, (how long it lasts)
- The movie's rating (G, PG etc...)
- The movie's genre (Adventure, Comedy, Family etc.). (Yes it could be more than one genre).
- A 3 or 4 sentence synopsis (outline) of the plot telling the main character(s), the setting (where, when), and what happens - WITHOUT SPILLING THE BEANS. You must use your key wording skills to help you write this.

- It is Christmas time and the McAllister family is preparing for a vacation in Paris, France. But, the youngest in the family named Kevin got into a scuffle with his older brother Buzz and was sent to his room which is on the third floor of his house. Then, the next morning, while the rest of the family were in a rush to make it to the airport on time, they completely forgot about Kevin who now has the house all to himself. At first, being home alone is fun for Kevin, but then, Kevin discovers 2 burglars, Harry and Marv are about to rob his house on Christmas eve. Kevin has to defend his home against two incompetent burglars.
