Why do you think Nadira is so interested in Matt’s adventures with Vikram Szpirglas, as shown in the following passage?
Nadira waited. Her eyes had none of Kate’s appreciative brightness. Her gaze unsettled me, it was so intent.
"He came down and kicked at my fingers, trying to break my grip."
"That’s ugly," said Hal.
"But then I gave him a great kick and managed to trip him up, and he started sliding off the fin." I paused, wishing I could stop the story there, with a triumphant, quick-witted blow. But Kate already knew that wasn’t the end. "Szpirglas regained his grip, though, and came back to me, and I saw his eyes and knew he was about to break my skull with his steel-toed boot. Then something brushed his shoulder. There was a whole flock of cloud cats passing over the Aurora, and one of them knocked him off balance. That time he truly did fall."
"He just fell?" Nadira said.

I think that Nadira is interested in Matt’s adventures with Vikram Szpirglass because she like’s Matt, and is worried that he killed Vikram. I think she is worried because she is following her dad’s path and doesn’t want a guy like Matt to have killed Vikram. I think that Nadira is on the pirate’s side and she only helped Matt to get on his side. I think that she is going to try and lead the pirates to the Hyperion. Catherine

If they are going to the Hyperion there might be people already there or there could be other things there too.

ReplyDeleteWell Nadia said that her father was a pirate, so her father may have been Vikram Szpirglas. So she may be interested in Matt’s adventure with him to find out if this really was how he (Vikram Szpirglas) died. Another possible is that her father was one of the pirates after the Hyperion but eventually gave up and gave her the key to the hold. Then he may have been killed by the other pirates who were after the Hyperion and one of those pirates may have been Vikram Szpirglas and she wanted to know how her father’s killer was killed.

Why I think that Nadria is so interested in Matt’s adventures with Vitram szpirglas is because Nadria like’s adventures and she does lots of adventures. And I think that she is helping John wrath with something or she is trying to help Matt find the Hyperion. Jadenn

ReplyDeleteNadira is angry about her dad’s death. She and Hal are probably in league with the pirates and are “spies”. They probably know each other and they planned to get in league with Matt and Kate and then turn against them by taking the treasure and giving it to Wrath. I also think they are good actors….
